Removing Film Grain
I know that RE4 is better with the Film Grain effect, but honestly, it slows my PC down a lot... If anyone knows how to remove it and other shader details, that'd be great...

I actuall disabled V-Sync and that seemed to be the real issue (although, particle effects are dragging it down still quite a bit, but then again, even on console those are so badly optimized). You wouldn't happen to know how to mod RE4 would you? Like, model replacement, map editing, hex editing (character swapping).

Change the game to the last version before the newest update. It removes some effects but makes the game run better

I'm going to be honest, I don't usually thank people that insult me for what I like...

Well to be fair you're a brony with seemingly no concept of how graphics work who also can't use google to get an answer in 2 seconds to your question. Kind of an easy target.

I know how graphics work, I'm a developer myself. Yes, the film grain does add to the tension, I won't lie, but at the end of the day, you could get through the game not even knowing there was a screen filter to begin with. And yes, I'm a Brony, but honestly, who cares? And Google doesn't help with anything related to the UHDE version...
