Does it run on Windows 10 ?
Hello,

I played RE 4 on the PS2 a long time ago, and I’m tempted to buy it on Steam now, but some reviews say that it doesn’t work on Win 10, and 10 is not listed in the system requirements either. Can it be run acceptably well on Win 10 ? Thanks !

Is there anything in particular that doesn’t work, or does the game just not start at all ? Any error message ?

when i press play, the game opens and after a few seconds it closes again. If i change in the files the fullscreen option then a small window opens with the game sound but it's all black.
I tried most of the things to fix this and for me nothing helped.
They told me the problem was windows 10.

Works perfectly fine on my end for Windows 10 X64 bit

Mine won't even open for a few seconds. The dialog box for Steam opens quickly, then it simply behaves as if I never launched the game.

Just tried launching this for the first time, same issue, when I launch it steam says it's running for about 1 or 2 seconds and then it closes. On Windows 10 64-bit, have latest Windows updates and latest Nvidia drivers.
Working fine on Windows 10 1903 or build 18362
My PC spec :
Intel Core i3-3220
AMD Radeon R7 240
8GB RAM
80GB SSD

Figured out the problem I was hitting: It was because my monitor was set to 120Hz and for some bizarre reason this game won't even launch if your monitor is set higher than 60Hz even though the game has a built-in 60 FPS lock. I plugged in my old 60Hz monitor without changing a thing with the game install or files and it worked fine.

I would set my current monitor to 60Hz but unfortunately I need to leave it at 120Hz because I use a Lightboost hack to eliminate ghosting and reverting it back to factory settings means I would have to rollback my Nvidia drivers each time I stop playing this just to set the hack back up.

Really annoying that there isn't any information on the store page stating that the game won't even launch if your monitor is set to anything higher than 60Hz.

No way to unlock fps like turn off vsync to get 200+ fps?
