PS4 controller not working when hide ds4 is on DS4Windows

I have some problems with my use of my ps4 controller with the game.

Problem 1: I get confusing button prompts like press 4+5 in quicktime events and other actions. i'm assuming that the game doesn't recognise my controller as an xbox controller

Problem 2: Whenever i tick the box "hide DS4 controller" (which i'm told would fix the problem above) my controller stops working in-game...

What to do? I read something about explusive mode being broken on windows 10. But i don't get any error messages when i start op ds4 windows, so i'm just assuming that it works...

Can you use DS4 on pc wirelessly? Or it need to be wired?

i have been using it wired but i do have a Bleutooth dongle to use it wirelessly. When i was using it wirelessly ithere was just way too much lag though...

i fixed it and now it works perfectly i had apperently f'ed something up when messing around with profiles but everything works now....
