Either my mouse is terrible or...
I have a wireless mouse (yes i know not the best choice) and once in a while during this game i noticed aiming quickly in any direction sometimes causes it to slow down for a brief millasecond before recalibrating on track. But I'm also noticing that re4 on the PC might have an acceleration effect with the aiming. ie when aiming at something small the mouse is dynamically less sensitive versus if you whip the mouse in certain direction.

And this happens noticeably more with RE4 but i can hardly tell if there is sort of like an aim assist in the background during the gameplay or if it is my mouse.

You pretty much need a controller to play this game on PC because its absolutely horrendous with K&M

Use the modern aim mode in the options. But even then this is a console port no matter what, so the mouse support isn't without its flaws.

I also disagree with the saying that kb+m is horrendous in this version.

I absolutely love this game, i've beat it on consoles more times that i want to admit. To me K&M controls are refreshing and gives me a whole new angle on the gameplay.

I already pinpointed that my mouse is my issue. May be caused from excessive performance because it works flawlessly at certain points.
