Now people will buy more RAM to gain fps instead of buying a real GPU for gaming. That's quite awesome!
On a serious note: i've just took out my GPU and tested both 4gb and 8gb on the mobo's Intel chipset. There is absolutely no difference in performance, it runs like sh*t either way.
Of course not. For gaming is much more important a decent gpu then a decent amount of ram. And the price you're gonna pay for a new gpu is much higher then a simple 4gb ram upgrade wich only cost me 30euros...What i said was that my intel hd 520 could do more in terms of performance for this game, in particulary adding 4gb ram. For exmple, i tested the pes 2018 demo and only gain 5-7fps more with the ram upgrade...So it depends on the game too and its optmization. Here it made a difference wich is rather strange since the recommended ram for the game is 4gb. I know my problem is within my cpu and graphic card but i still managed too adress the low fps problem. I think the game could be more optimized too.
