red 9 or balcktail for pro?

I have finished the game on ps2 normal almost 20 times but know i buyed the game on steam and after finishing normal i tryied pro immidiatly and i want to know from more experianced players what do you recomend?red 9 or balcktail for pro?

U can always upgrade your red9 fully upgraded almost a god gun

And who care about damages? Seriously 4.5 and 6.0 is not big different. In this game even in Pro mode is more enough ammo. I always had around 200-300 bullets for handgun, around 100 for shotgun, around 500 for machine gun, some for magnum, around 100 for rifle and some granades and truth is that it this game you have more than enough ammo because i never ruiun out of ammo. So in Red9 vs Blacktail totaldamage is bu.l.l.s.h.i.t because its change nothing, and still in every other aspect than power Blacktail is much better, thats why Blacktail is best for Pro run. Ok for fun play can be Red9, but only for fun play.

You're way too invested in what pistol others use in this game. Seriously, chill.

Red9. It's the least accurate, however, it is possible to learn how to use it properly, which makes it a lot of fun to use. The extra damage compensates for the lack of fire rate. Plus, it looks great, the reload animation is cool and it sounds awesome.

But at the end of the day, it is my opinion. I like vintage guns, and also the kind of guy who prefers one well-placed killer blow than going berserk unloading a full mag. You probably will be fine with either choice.

However, don't forget to reserve ammo. You should technically dispose of a moderate group with only one mag if you do it right. shoot them in the knee, or in the face and do melee attacks that will knock back the whole group. Do it little by little until heads start popping on their own. Only use the gun to innitiate the process, of if someone gets too close. And use your knife as much as possible. Always have flashbangs if LasPlagas pop out their heads.

I will always say Red 9 because i love it, but can anyone else voice there opinion on the Punisher for PRO playthrough? It punches through 3 enemies so thats a plus but idk how the damage is or its worth it. Id like to know. Thanks :)

I don't think you can modify the Punisher beyond its stock power (1.2 I think). It punches through enemies, yes, but in later chapters the lack of power will get you killed.

Yup, I can't think of any reason the Punisher wouldn't be upgradable on any difficulty - I thought it went up to 2 or something?

I always go with Red9 even though I've promised myself countless times that I would try a different gun... It just everytime it's available it's basically 'hello Red9 my old friend'...
Probably I'm just used to it since I know how to use it well.
But I also skip the riot gun and I need TMP for the maze so what do I know.

You think? Don't think, just play with it. Punisher is great for hordes and shield enemies. Its penetrate shields and hit enemies behind. Compared to other pistoles. Punisher is best for enemies with shield. I once used it on Pro and it was good weapon for this mode. So dying as you wrote is almost impossible.

Sometimes when i see comments like "It's have weak firepower, so you will die", i think something like "Whats noob answer". No offense but it's true...

handgun with full critical effect worked out for me. Those 1 shot kills really helped a lot. Red9 looks weird and it takes more inventory space and without stock it is hard to aim.
