it didn't work, pls send help

Friend and I have been enjoying the game, but our past two runs have come to an unfortunate ending, we were crushing it, and on wave 10 of the first run and wave 12 of the second run, we receive an unsolvable "Connection lost to other player". We're both on fiber connections and have about 15,000 hours of gaming together time, so it's definitely a game issue :) We'd really like to keep playing but tonight will be our last night playing it till this is resolved. I hold my comment about awful music. I had to disable it while still in first tutorial, for some reason none of it fits for me. Game seemed to bug in anchor tutorial - I have ascended a rune, also created a bunch of double-squares and available upgrade, but tutorial text didn't proceed. As we're on topic of tutorial - it learns to gather ether first, but never explains it's blocs what's required most for units, I'd propose to add this info in tutorial phase. Tried to load, instantly crashes when getting to the "warning beta content" screen. not really much more information I can give... I downloaded the demo, clicked to launch it, and it loads the music for a split second and closes before I even get anywhere. I see a flash of black after the Octopus screen, and only by recording do I know that it's the "warning beta content" screen.
