How many map/slope are there ?
are there many maps/tracks in the game? how much ?
What are the game modes? I'm worried about the lifespan.

There are 12 maps and 24 slopes (blue and black on each trail)

And 4 modes:
solo racing (3 challenges per slope and leaderboards)
zen mode (free ride on the 12 maps with free checkpoint placement)
multiplayer racing
and multiplayer teams (where you cooperate to collect trick points)

if you are worried about the life span, take a look at the previous game lonely mountains: downhill for reference on what to expect from the studio

Thanks for the quick anwser.
Does this mean that the devs have planned to expand the game (more maps? as they go along) ?

There is no word on that and they are obviously focused on getting it more stable and releasing on all other platforms.

But the previous game had one purchasable extra mountain DLC and 4 new free maps for the original 4 mountains plus the daily rides added.

It is entirely possible they will put their update/DLC focus elsewhere with this game though. Most frequent request for example has been snowboards.

Basically 3 hours of singleplayer content. And thats taking your time.
Multiplayer might add some time for you if you have a friend also buying it.
But beyond that, not a lot to do.

Also i feel like Team is not as good as i expected.
Multiplayer in general lacks options to tweak your experience. For example we would like to play the slopes in Zen Mode with best times stopped or we would love to rideall tracks in quick succession in racing or team.

Theres no Night Mode too for some extra challenge.

I love that they added Multiplayer, it seemed already mandatory for Downhill.
But in return it also is a major step backwards from Downhill in terms of content and complexity.

that's what I thought too, the content is weak, and I don't like this style of camera. too bad, I like skiing.

Maybe Grand Mountain Adventures is more your thing? Havent played it, but its kind of similar.
There are 24 slopes but each slope has a bunch of different paths. If you're into exploring and finding alternate routes, optimizing runs, hitting the perfect line, and beating your high score, the game has a ton of longevity. If you're a one and done kinda guy, I think there was a roguelite/proc-gen ski game thats coming out soon - SNO freeride adventure or something
