Report a translation problem
I haven't been playing as if there's a jump button. You can hold A to crouch low to gain a lot of speed at the cost of your ability to turn sharply. Then just run off the jump. If you're holding R2 when you do, you might crash because that brings you back down to earth. But if the trigger button is released, you'll go farther.
Note that some of these jumps are *really* hard and take a lot of practice to do even semi-consistently.
