You could you know, just not buy the game.
No need to be a rude jerk about it. wishing ill will on people just because a game they re-released lacks a feature you want? Grow up.
No 16:9 on Obscure 2 on the other hand, isn't acceptable. If the Wii could run Obscure 2 in widescreen (I have it on Wii) then there is no excuse for the steam version to not support it.
Hope this gets fixed. I'd buy it then.
This does not work as there is no Playlogic folder, I even went to the steam in registry and there was no resolution to edit
You can't remove the black borders from there, only change the resolution.
Unlike RE HD REmaster which it's yet again an originally 4:3 game but it does not support any display aspect ratio other than 16:9... and despite the same relative visuals (6th gen consoles time frame) RE HD runs like sh*t even on 2~3 times more powerful hardware than even recommended specs and doesn't even feature Controller button remapping feature... So, Obscure I & II are both decent ports by comparison... much better in my opinion...
As of this time, with the discount, I think that it worth 5,09€ for both games. You should try them.
You mean cut the top and bottom of the image... ? Like rendering off-screen ?
I don't know how you could do that through the Control Panel...
But if you know how, I'm definitely curious about how to do it.
So you were saying about stretching the image. I know how to do that. I thought you've found a way to make it like that "half *****" widescreen in the old retail version... through Nvidia's CPL...
I guess I'll stick with 4:3 and the black bars. I'm all for consistency more than anything. I don't care very much to fill the screen. Although, I hate when devs do lazy ports and don't code proper aspect ratio or controls or whatever else...
