Polish language

Is there any chance for Polish subtitles and interface? Game is well designed and looks really fresh. But some cutscenes have blurry, AI-like edges. Also - it would be good to have Polish langauge added. Thanks in advance ;)

All you have to do is transfer this to the reforged version

Jest już jeden wątek z prośbą o napisy pl po co tworzycie następny wystarczy przejrzeć dyskusje a jak nie ma to dopiero tworzyć :/

This won't work with Reforged version. This is version for ScummVM. Modern BS1 is using .osa extension for language files.

It's true that the resource files are not interchangeable, but OSA files are for speech and sound effects, the rest uses VT7A. Subtitles can be ported "easily", but someone needs to do that work. There are tools to unpack and repack the subtitles.

Modders that worked on the Polish subtitles for the original version should have little difficulty doing this. I can help with the process if needed, but I don't speak Polish, so someone would need to go over and transfer the 11761 lines of dialogue :)

If someone wants to create a translation mod themselves, you can use my packer/unpacker tool to get a text-file with all subtitle lines and repack that after translation. Otherwise there is also Wattos Game Extractor.
