Interesting. You aren't the only one who's asked for borderless window mode. I'll add that to our list of things to condier.
I'll add that one, as well, though like you said, a lower priority.
With a team this small, these types of features do tend to get pushed to the back burner's back burner. But that doesn't mean "never" just "not sure when" :D
Let me know if this works for now for you. We still plan to add something like this to the game.
There's another command I'm unable to try because I only have 1 monitor, but might help you select the starting monitor. Assuming you run on Windows, try:
-adapter N
where N = number of adapter (presumably 0 or 1 for dual monitor setup)
Again - no idea if that will help specify a specific monitor for it to run on. Or maybe -popupwindow was enough...
popupwindow worked just fine, but I guess the other command would be handy if you don't play on the "main" monitor.
That makes sense. I'll leave that out there in case someone stumbles on it with a desperate need to start the game on their third screen so they can keep working...
"-popupwindow -screen-height 1080 -screen-width 1920" for the startup parameters.
As JP already pointed out, you still need to select windowed mode in the launch dialog. It will still ask you for a resolution, but the command line arguments will override that choice.
