Bug: Drone camera goes black
If in drone view holding down COMMAND + UP ARROW to access console history while pressing ENTER cause the app to go windowed and the drone screen will go black. This resets if you exit the level

Tech specs:
OSX 10.9.5
Duskers with Unity Player version 5.3.4f1

It also gets fixed if you go into the graphics settings and change the quality. You can set it back to what it originally was and it's fine.

This screwed me in a slime level once before I knew about this trick.

Bajax - thanks for that , luckily I'm close enough to the start that I haven't lost much by rebooting :D

Thanks. First - we have a fix in the next patch to fix the screen going black when switching between FS and Windowed (or visa versa) while in a game. That should fix that issue. If you happen to trip before that patch, you can quickly fix w/o leaving the level by going to Graphical Options and toggling the Quality setting.

As for the CMD+UP+Enter issue - that's because of how we have the screen toggle set on the Macs (CMD+ENTER). Do you have a suggestion as to how we can lock that down so you don't do accidently? CMD+M should also toggle, so we could consider getting rid of CMD+ENTER or usiny some alternative...?

Hi JP

I'll this opportunity to congratulate you on the game :D

I realise you want to let the player still control the drones while accessing the console history - how about ENTER + UP to trigger the consle history?

Well as soon as you hit ENTER, it would execute whatever's on the line :) I was thinking more of a different command (than CMD+ENTER) for toggling FS/windowed :D

Thanks for the kind words!

OSX already has a key combo for toggling between fullscreen and windowed ( COMMAND +F )
which is why I understood what you meant but suggested something else.

How bout double tap UP?

I've done the same thing many times.. just when i'm in the thick of things and starting to panic. I use CMD+Up, or accidentally hit Enter in my hurry. Lol it's not too big of a deal.

Glad to hear it can be fixed by just changing the quality! Wouldn't have aborted missions early if I had known. I used to continue on by only using schematic view, which was actually a fun challenge! :)

I'm thinking I'll search through mac settings to see if I can change CMD+ENTER to CMD+F or someting similar. I don't recall seeing a way to change it, there might be a way to turn it off entirely though.

Thanks for the good work and taking care of all of us on non-Windows OS's! I was a little worried I would have to wait until I built a new windows computer to play this.

Edit: Couldn't find any 'fullscreen shortcut' in keyboard settings. But it seems like CONTROL+CMD+F is 'fullscreen' for most apps. So I guess the only option is to change it in-game.

I'm not sure that would be the best, I've inched forward by tapping up pretty quickly (fast enough to be considered double tapping).. maybe OPTION instead of CMD for console stuff?
Not sure if there is a RIGHT OPTION (alt) on all mac keyboards, but it would probably be a little easier to hold OPTION and use the arrow keys with the right hand.

I know CONTROL will change screens if you tap an arrow key, but OPTION should be clear for use.

That said, if you can change the 'fullscreen toggle' to CMD+F or something like that, then we should be good to go (without needing to change the console 'controls')
