Drone destroyed directly in airlock door. Game over?
Hey all! Got this fun roguelike a few days ago and have been getting used to the 'world'. Just ran into this situation and was wondering if there's a solution beyond the only one I can think of.

Long and the short, a drone got slimed to destruction directly in the airlock door of my ship. Being destroyed it's impossible to tow, and if there's no other way to move it then I can't close the airlock to relocate my ship.

I discovered that this doesn't stop the Exit command from functioning (surprisingly...I got an airlock is blocked message, but then the fadeout and Mission Summary. RIP Noah), but for future reference is there any way to move or otherwise get rid of 'destroyed' drones so they don't block access points? Besides, y'know, opening a distant airlock and waiting for it to reach your room while praying to whatever gods still exist in the goo-cursed 'verse?

Lessons learned today: Don't let drones die in your airlock door unless you're flush with Teleport modules :p

*wanders off to see if the situation can be salvaged the with remaining drones...really need to leave this infestation 4 zone >.<*

well, at least you've learnt your lesson. :p

AFAIK no you can't move them, so don't let things die in airlock doorways, least of all your own drones.
That kinda sucks, if so. Feels like there might be a market for a 'Sweeper' or 'Scraper' mod that allows drones to push rubbish out of the way, or to deliberately block open doors. Upgrade it to make it a goo-resistant plow! ;)

You don't have to close the airlock before you redock. It will automatically close if it can. if it can't it will give you a warning that you will vent the room the airlock is in. I have had enemies die in the airlock before and it just warns you that the airlock won't close behind you. Your ship and and everything on it is just fine in that case. Anything left behind in the room not so much.

Yeah, this has also happened to me on at least one occasion... :)
