this requires 20 copper wires (which one could figure can be made by the extrusion) and 6 lightweight machine housing (which has no
clues as to where to craft it, we really need some tooltips)
eventually you find that you have to research a lightweight machine housing crafter from the research station (via wikipedia lol)

The autoexcavator only needs craftable items, so that unknown is an item you haven't researched yet ...
