If you got pristine stingers you can upgrade

There are thee missile types.

Basic: Needs 1 copper tube, 1 gold wire, and 1 high energy fuel
Plasma: Needs energy
Armor-Piercing: Needs a pristine stinger

Basic missile can be made in one crafter

Armor-Piercing made by combining plasma missile and a pristine stinger plus 10 power for 15s.

So the default search by type is going to put Ruined Stingers just after Copper Bars. If you have Tin Bars too, then

There is also the Organic Cutting Head that is the ONLY use for the Pristine Stinger.

Stingers are now used in missiles too. Probably a better use for them now than the cutter.

conversion in the refinery should require a small bit of biomass.

Maybe for stingers, eyes, glands and armor-
10 ruined + 4 biomass = 1 pristine
10 pristine + 4 biomass = 1 perfect
64 ruined chitin armor
heavy + 16 biomass = 1 organic rock
32 pristine chitin armor heavy + 16 biomass = 1 organic rock
4 light chitin armor + 4 biomass = 1 chitin armor heavy

20 perfect eyes + 10 biomass = 1 massive eye

heads are a great boon going to attempt to keep my threat at about 120 once i get a good base def going just to try for pristine stingers :)
