In my current game, the only "deep" minerals are the t2 ones. Is that change intentional? It would be great if the in-game reference section included depth information on each ore.
Gosh no. You don't have that sort of information at a player level!
Copper is -5 to -850
Tin is -5 to -850
Iron is -65 to -850
Lithium is -160 to -850
Gold is -300 to -1500
Titanium is -300 to -1500
Nickel is 300 to -1500
I presume you mean -300 not 300 for Nickel
Yup that colored ore ping is INCREADIBLY useful beyond comprehention. Rushing to get that battery pack upgrade is quite important. As then you can just rush down and find the other types of ore, scan them, reserch them and still find the good veins with the colored ping. So once your main mining shaft makes it to those levels, you have the colored pings to locate the good veins near the main shaft.
