Is this game Minecraft With Tech mods/tech modpacks basically?

hello not got this game yet only seen abit of it so dont hate
i just want to ask if this game is abit like Minecraft with those tech mods like buildcraft/thermal expansion and those modpacks for minecraft like FTB infinity but instead of mods/modpack as 1 big game

It's a lot more like Factorio in 3d than MC + Buildcraft + TE. Different game focus. Manual labour is ineffective (as opposed to MC).

Kinda you get coal to make torches at the beginning, there is blocks and minecarts thats about it. Plays different to minecraft. Right now in the game im touching on having power and drills - 1500 into the world takes me almost 2mins to get back to the surface using the grapping hook. Scale wise this game destroys mc.

Not really no. It shares an aesthetic but that's about it. In terms of gameplay its very different.

Its like MC with automation is the way I see it. Like if minecraft went to the future. The game does have an objective (to get off of the planet you are crashed on) and a progresion scale (T1/T2/T3 ect).

However unlike MC this game has no limit to how deep you can dig, no 256 block limit in hight or depth, the game is endless.

The game is cheap so its not a bad pickup if you dont find that you like it, but its well worth a shot!

Definately well thought out and well written. If you like MC or Factorio you will love this
