How to get Organic Lens?

Ever since I found Lithium I have had hardened resin encroaching on my base. My focus has been to get the albiterator thingy. So, I built a lab powered by about 40 mk2 and 10 pyro gens with enriched coal and researched cryo thingies to make the eyes to make the organic lenses only to find out that I need an organic lens to make the machine that makes the eyes.

How do I get an organic lens? I did ask Spiclops but she was too busy saying hello to the pollinators.

Organic Lenses are made using Pristine Facet Eyes, The green good Eyes that drop from Wasps from time to time. . .

Build a slime attractor. Slimes drop pristine glands for the coal enrichers and perfect faceted eyes for the organic lenses.

Hmmm. That's a bit of a blocker. Surface attacks and Slime killing is the easiest way. I might look into changing that recipe.

I have loads of pristine faceted eyes (green) from the mobs. It says perfect faceted eyes (blue) to make organic lenses and no mob has dropped one yet. haven't had any attacks by the other two types. I have loads of pristine glands too.

Just no perfect faceted eye!

I"m like 80 hours into my world and I just got and made enough of those, This has been by far my biggest known item blocker as well. I sent 3 blue lasers to the cold caverns, made 4 cryo hoppers and the genetic recombobulator, took like 2 hours and a bunch of trips to get enough materials to craft.

I tried a slime pit too, coudn't get it to work. I put it at the bottom of a 35m hole, 4 hoppers on the sides, put bait in, the machine said it was working, but nothing. Maybey you have to baby sit it.

Make sure the slimes can path to it. They often get stuck because they cant path around stuff

I made a slime pit and finally received an perfect faceted eye.

My ablator is now talking to the hardened resin, be it very slowly. Need more lenses!!

Resin Farms are very power-intensive. Consider building a dedicated high-load powerplant for your resin farm.
