[REQ] Surface fog removal
Any chance we can get an option to remove the surface fog, even if only briefly? It's only purpose appears to be flavor and I'd really like to get a decent screenshot of my base.

At the same time, can we get it so that everything within draw distance renders?

No it doesn't. It toggles lighting draw order which, while altering the way the fog looks, doesn't remove the fog.

Press F10 a few more time and the fog tends to go for a wander. Also, Bleeding Edge has a new fog system that I think is a lot nicer.

You of all people should know better. There's a fog (steam? clouds? dust?) particle effect that sits at a fixed distance from the avatar. F10 doesn't have any effect on this. Making this particle fog go away goes hand-in-hand with making far objects render.
