Lightweight interface for machines which can take or consume a single item, currently:
Conveyor
Macerator
MassStorageIOPort
MassStorageInputPort
StorageHopper
Lightweight interface for machines which can supply a single item, currently
Conveyor
Allows machines which wish to remove items from a hopper, or similar machine, to be queried by the hopper itself, instead of needing to search every adjacent space for a hopper. Replaces hard-coded information in the storage hopper.
CentralPowerHub
PyrothermicGenerator
SpiderBotBase
Allows machines which wish to add items to a hopper, or similar machine, to be queried by the hopper itself, instead of needing to search every adjacent space for a hopper. Replaces hard-coded information in the storage hopper.
ManufacturingPlant
ManufacturingPlantModule
OreExtractor
RefineryController
T4_GasBottler
T4_Grinder
Many storage methods require the 'requestor' to be supplied so that the machine is able to make decisions based on that if necessary (e.g. the direction of the requestor could be important as to whether the action is allowed), this must be something inheriting StorageUserInterface which is currently SegmentEntity or MobEntity. It can be added to any other class which needs it.
Example:
<Custom>
<Value key="CustomData1" value="77" />
<Value key="CustomData2" value="Fast" />
</Custom>
Currently:
OnVerifySuitUpgrades
OnPerformItemAction
You are bad arse sir....and TY for suck an awsome update. Cant WAIT till the 7th....oh and i will be purchasing some textures to throw in some "appreciation" for all the free content....
So mass storage is only 5x faster if it is dedicated to only one type of item stream?
yes or at the very least you get 5 of the same item and then another 5 of the same item.
nothing actually preventing you from still doing this. while it may not be sped up alot with random stuff coming in it will hold much more
This is not to say I wouldn't buy the new DLC. I do support his work, just don't agree with some of his thinking.
The note about not being able to build on magma: does this affect how players have historically gotten through the cavern if the (spoilers!) can no longer be placed on magma? That will suck big time if this is changed :/
It is not real good that Oremelters are now same handled like the PTG`s.
I gues sI`m not the only one who builded a nice underground base (In my case the main "fabrications" are at 64 Meters. And now suddenly none of my melters work anymore because they need now suddenly oxigen.
Eigther take this again out please, or give us an option to bring down Oxigen, like it is in real Miningfacilitys too.
However until then the ability to smelt ore underground is a bit overpowered. Even on plentiful settings it's the equivalent to making items carrying ingots above ground 4x more powerful. It sucks for people who already had them built especially in large quantities. Though I will say that the change wasn't painful for my 4 smelters per a ore type setup which produces me enough resources for my needs. In fact for 2 of the ores the change was as simple as remove smelters from OE area and place near storage area while moving 10 or so conveyors each.
But 64 Meters is not even in RL deep :-)
I liked the mechanic earlier that the efficiency of the PTG (Now seemingly the Melter too) did decrease with growing deep till 0, that was ok in my eyes, and the Effectivitydecrease vs Deep was fine in my eyes too, you could not go too deep with your stuff, but at least a bit.
If you 'got through' the cavern, then you have gone further than I intend to let the player go at current times. Well done. But there's nothing there.
