[P18 rapid] Slimes drop not enough ruined Parts
It seems that Slimes drop no enough ruined parts to sustain a slime Trap (rapid mode).
I didnt even noticed the change in drop rate until recently, as i had multiple hoppers full of spoiled parts in between. Now they are all empty and the slimes drop almost exclusivly pristine loot.

Not even remotely a problem. Each one drops at least 1 on death, often more, on scarce everything. If You'r having issues with uptake of said parts the problem is with your setup. As it is on 10 capacity hopper will sustain a trap more than adequately even mostly full of non ruined parts.

So you're telling me, my Trap which was chockfull with spoiled parts for months is suddenly wrong?
I've watched the drops of the Slimes in the Trap for a while and shot a bunch manually. They almost always drop Pristine parts, sometimes even 2, but very rarely ruined.
It was a change in Patch 18 as I understand.

Yes it was changed for rapid mode. all enemys almost always drop pristine. now ruined parts are the rare drop XD

Wait, are you complaining that your slime trap is getting clogged with pristine parts? The ones that you're trying to get? I'm unsure how this is a problem. If you manually insert some spare spoiled ones you'll get it going again and if you walk away with nearly 100 pristine parts in that time you won't need to do it many times before you can just stop bothering.

Nothing is getting clogged, the Slime Attractor simply stops working because (on rapid) Slimes dont drop enough ruined Parts to keep it going. All Overminds are dead and so are my Reserves on Spoiled Parts. Now what?

Falcor everythign from teh waves and if you dont need the recomb, le tthe parts spoiil in a hopper, then filter them out to feed the traps. Not sure traps re really meant to be a parts generator (thats what waves are for), just more of a "hey i can turn these ruined parts into something useful".

I guess next gme dont be in such a rush to kill the last overmind. Build a mass(ve) cold(caverns) storage facility and let it fill up with ruined parts or pristine parts.

If the overminds are dead you should already have more than enough pristine of every variety to get you all the way through FF. Why worry about running a slime attractor?

You are in Rapid. You don't need a slime trap. If you killed all the overminds and don't have frozen factory, congratulations you won. This may've unlocked additional modes, so you may want to try a new map.

I tell you "The Car isnt working well anymore" and you tell me
Get out and Push;
You dont need it, go by Foot;
Next time bring Spare Parts with you
and so on.

So Slime Attractor shouldnt be used on rapid anymore and the Player is supposed to hunt the Slimes manually? Hard to believe, honestly.

wait... why do you hunt the slimes?

Also there is mod that creates laser gun which hunts camobots... Maybe this works on slimes too?

If it doesn't then why not ask creator of this mod to create one for slimes? Or upgrade this one for slimes + camobots

It's rapid, you don't need to do anything with slimes. All the wasps drop pristine everything all the time. This isn't "the car is broke" it's "stop riding the bike, here's a car".

At this point he's just being whinny about how rapid mode is rapid.

Dude, you're on rapid, you shouldn't even HAVE one running.

I think you're missing the point: Slimes drop nothing you can't get from wasps as well. Since the droprate was boosted for both of these, it's now - at least on rapid difficulty - far more effective to skip slime traps and just focus for the wasps instead.
