what gpu do you have?
GPU: GTX 1080. I get about 250fps on Good quality.
EDIT: Also, the graphics in general have taken a turn for the worse since the last time I played. I don't remember everything having extreme amounts of bloom and contrast. I tried the "very old survival" version and the lighting is so much better on all graphics settings.
Worlds created before patch 17 will blind you as lighting effects and world generation was changed at that point. I strongly recommend to make a new world if all your old ones are pre 17.
A screenshot does not show this issue.
I recorded a video, but it's barely noticeable in the recording. You can still see some instances where it looks like the frames are overlapping. For example the white rings on the laser power transmitter appear to be double or triple, like if you were crosseyed for a split second.

It's like the game engine is rendering the frames from left to right and there's stuttering while walking. It's only while walking. Using the grappling hook is fine.
You can type
enter detail bloom enter enter
If for some reason bloom offends you.
It doesn't have Motion Blur, more importantly.
