Spider bot broken
Been hosting a server and spider bot is broken goes up in the air, or just sits and watches the eneimes fly by him without doing anything.

Wow what a waste of money, bought the game for a friend and bought the adventure pack for a few of us just to find out the game is busted.

Bugs is one thing but broken mechanics is another. I would have been fine with spider bots legs being wonky they always have been but at least he worked. 2 Server runs to try and get him working and no go.

No calmers and spider bot is useless what a way to leave the game final curtian and all what a joke.

there is partial fix for it, beta of p25, but I think it's only singleplayer and only windows

I dont have access to p25 only goes up to p22. Am on windows. It's sold as an mp game then it should work in mp to period. All he has to do is put it back to before tring to prevent his legs from going backwards, but no that would be to hard better to leave it f-in broken then in working but buggy state.

p25 is called "secret-nightly"
and I guess it's SP only because I don't believe dev would update dedicated server for tests ;D

ah I did see the secret nightly thing. Not much good if we cant all play together so it doesnt matter really. Thanks for the info tho.

Its frustrating as heck. Main defensive tool at your disposal doesn't work. I know development is finished, and i've gotten a *LOT* of playtime out of it, but leaving it broken like this is highly aggravating when i really want to do a full proper playthrough from start to finish now that its a finished product

hell no we played for hours and went thru many attacks, and he is useless broken completely.

My last two play troughs I never used Spider Bro at all. He scatters bug parts all over the world and you have to setup a MASSIVE collection system to collect them all or get spammed with a message about to many parts on the ground. When you don't use him all the parts drop near my turret banks and are easy to pick up with 12 - 15 FALCORS and feed into my sorting system.

So no he is not a Main defensive tool just one of the ones you can use if you so desire, I don't use missiles either. 4 laser bank setups placed properly is all you need to defend against all enemies. By the time I'm ready to take out the overlords I have a MK4 power block powered by a Turbine covered with MK3 turrets and that takes care of the tower defense. If not then I'll just build a 2nd turrent bank a bit further out.

A broken mechanic is a broken nechanic, lots of people do use it and its broken.

Wariat you are becoming a real a hole on this forum. That is not what I said nor intended. Don't put words in my mouth.

I offered another option for someone who feels they can't play because of this bug. The bug certainly should be fixed. However it's not game breaking as other play styles are totally doable.
So good luck getting it fixed at this point.

I haven't seen it for a while. It used to hang around here and seemed to be fighting the worms that were popping up near my base. Now the worms are here and the spider bot is nowhere to be seen. All of these lithium coils are waiting in the hopper but it seems that the spider bot is off on some extended journey or stranded?
