rooms and tunnel nukers
Wasn't it mentioned that reinforced blocks aren't affected by tunnel nukers?
If that's the case why are my reinforced room walls being turned to resin?

Could you quote where it is mentioned that reinforced blocks stop tunnel nukers?

Reinforced blocks stop the hiveminds ;D

From vanilla blocks only reinforced wood and reinforced rock stop tunnel nukers.
+ machines and mutliblock stuff (but you can't use those as walls)

I know your pain mate. Got the same "problem". The overmind will keep sending these nukers until the path is clear to your base. Just let them. Once the path is clear then it will stop sending.
Options for delaying them is placing turrets in their path of building a reinforced wall.

They'll still smash into the wall, just won't destroy it.

OP, don't be obstinate. Either kill the nukers, or remove your obstacles. ;)

DjArcas recently changed them im P18 so they would be able to take out rocks and trees, probably buffed them up too much

The reinforced plated room wall. I suspect a juicy bug if what I think I read is correct.

I've successfully used mk4 batteries and conveyors as room walls. I think really the only thing you can't use as a wall is air.

either I have outdated info or the way you do it doesn't use 100% of the room's potential

correct, it does make more sense to put the battery or conveyors or whatever other machines either fully inside or outside. I just had an occasion where I wanted to wrap up a bunch of machines into a room and some of it wasn't really moveable without re-jiggering a bunch of other junk; which allowed me to point out you can use machines and multiblocks for walls (even if that misses the point a bit).

I'm just testing on p19 and tunnel nukers still can't destroy large rocks and glow tubes :V

also... tunnel nukers were always destroying the normal reinforced blocks ;d (for some odd reason reinforced rock and reinforced wood are way stronger than normal reinforced)
