or use the specific ore ping
how do you get more then one handheld scanner?
so you think if they are color blind they shouldn't get to have the convenience of the handheld scanner?
oh well yes thats one thing but thats seprate my issue is that the rest of us can use "color ore ping" but color blind people can't, even if the color ore ping had diffrent patterns of each ore aswell as color for the rest of us that would be good.
Even people not color blind can have trouble with the current colors, going to the same type or ore again and again by mistake.
So I agree that saying to use ore pings is not a viable solution.
The other question is the developers intent.
Is the reason that the scans are the way they are now to introduce artificial difficulty? Or is it because the colors looked cool and it just hasn't been a priority yet to make it a bit more usable.
Making better distinction between the colors doesn't reduce the mystery of not knowing originally what color is what or seeing multiple colors or having to go exploring. It just let's you focus more on enjoying the game that was actually designed to be played. Not a visual artifact.
I'd personally love to see the developers even add a bit more clarity on flexibility. Texture is one easy solution and might even be cool depending on what textures could come up. Could also just adjust the colors to be more distinct.
Many possibilities, just think the next logical step, especially if the goal is to grow the community...is to do something.
Or take another way to find the ore
