Of course this only works when that particular material is abundant in your system (usually limited to ores and bars).
You could also try mass storage with two ports on either side, though I am not sure how effective that can be for your specific case.
As far as turntables go, I don't have any bad experiences with them, from what I can tell they always do what they are supposed to. I do know they have some specific placement requirements though (apparently don't place them next to a hopper, and be sure to have the turntable facing the right direction).
I think logistics hoppers output slightly less than 50 items/min, so not ideal.

Without that mod, there is no sure way.
You can try to feed a hopper faster than two conveyors can remove from it, and that'll work. Until you run out.
You're right. Turntables are uneven and slow and sometimes block entirely in my experience.
That actually looks like a really good mod too.
I can get a full supply line working, but the problem is with full belts when it comes to switching the system out im going to have problems.
