Does anyone play multiplayer?

I just bought this game mostly wanting to play with others online, but when I try to join a quick race it keeps telling me none are available. When are people usually out and about on this game?

Basically, what you need to do is start becoming friends with people that play this game, and then try an ask them to join your private lobby (or wait and they'll start to invite you). I've tried searching the main open lobby since the game came out and basically either nobody hardly ever plays or there is something faulty with matchmaking to where it can't connect people.

I think next year they need to take a good look at how other games incentivise online play. Perhaps provide unlocks or upgrades only via playing online.

Thanks for the info. I've noticed that at some times it'll tell me that there are no games available, but at other times it will search for a few seconds before creating a new lobby for me, which seems a little weird/inconsistant. I guess I'll just have to grab this game for one of the consoles then since I know you can get online matchmaking to work well there.

I would recommend (as to what JoeyBagADonuts said previously before me) to get with a group of people who play the game and race with them. I myself ran in a race and while I didn't get past a lap one crash (DNF, lucky me :P), it was a nice environment to race in.

From what I can tell there is only 1 group of racers that play most every day , the same ones who give feedback on this steam fourm. Sorry I missed the chance to race with you Mets.

id really like to find others as well i raced 2003 online for a long time hope can here too

It's difficult at times to get competitive races with a lot of drivers. Many times you get too big of a group that has some individuals who serverly lack in driving skills (to put it as politically correct as I can) and that results in crashing and cautions every single lap. That said, there have been a few instances where I've gotten races with some excellent drivers and we've had long green flag runs with little to no cautions. If you start playing online you'll learn quickly who can drive and who thinks the race is won on the first lap and drives all over everyone else.

I sent request "to friend" to krl482 and Vinsanity. They didnt accept yet. That´s a try to get chances to race with us. I sent invites to NPI group too. If dont want friend with my steam count, maybe can do with rina9455 or INDIANA ELI. Will be very hard join good lobbys without connections to who usually play this online.

I remember a nascar game (forget the name now) that came out about 11 years ago and the online servers were so busy you had a hard time getting in one to race, they were always full it seemed. They great thing was, you didn't have to friend anyone just to have others to race with, the people were already there and you made a ton of friends. The people that did that sim/game really did it good and to top that off, I heard there's still a lot of people racing that title, I just can't remember the name. I'll just turn on the AC and maybe it'll come to me.

it was nascar 03 i raced there every day with no problems wish this was like that

I played nascar 04,05,06 online a lot. The servers were constantly full back then.
