Fatal Panic, Direct draw failure

When i try to start the game i just get a black screen with the above msg in an error box. Hoping someone can help me out and tell me how to make the game work.

If you intend to skip the movies, use the "Esc" button. Pressing any other will result in that error. (From what i noticed)
If that doesn't work do this:

- Use the QT version in the Septerra Core Steam folder.
- Running in Windows XP (SP2) compatability mode
- Open up QuickTime, go to Preferences > QuickTime Preferences > Advanced > Uncheck the three DirectX check boxes

You don't need do copy it over or something, you can use it separately as a second "game executable".

just delete the 104 before replace it with your steam version ;)
