Question about the ending *SPOILER*

So if I understand, Doskias's plan succeeded in the end? I mean, he did lift all the shells to shell one and they did got access to the kingdom of heaven after using the keys. So in the end the only thing we did was prevent Doskias to do evil things with the kingdom of heaven ( like attacking the other worlds etc)?

Also, from what I understand from the ending, in order to survive Maya got her consciousness transfered into those big robots like Layla? Some ppl say that it is Layla speaking during the last cutscene but im pretty sure its Maya.

Anyway, id like to know your opinion on the ending :)

His thinking was that we was Chosen so everything he did was OK as the prophecy granted him assurance. He didn’t wait for assignment and forced the ascension. "Every villain is the hero as his own story." And that's Maya's voice at the end. But as to rather or not they earned their rightful ascension is questionable as it was rushed and shown that Septerra was still a world not at peace with itself.
