List of bugs
Not sure if I'll continue this list but rather than creating separate thread for each bug..

Figured I will share my hardware setup here as well:
4090, 14900k, 64GB@6400cl30, 980 evo pro, varjo aero, winwing orion2

-toolbar not showing sometimes
-cockpit clickability sometimes disappears
-weird rectangular borders on the surface of water
-developer performance overlay beyound fov, not sure if this is entirely a bug ;)
-random CTDs
-axis settings (like sensitivity) reset after app shutdown/crash

"funny", very-minor bugs:
-the boxes I was carrying in my cessna in free flight disappeared after I switched out of VR during flight and didnt come back :'(

I noticed while flying in some fairly overcast cloudy weather in VR, that if I tilted my head to the left, suddenly in just my left eye, the clouds would become translucent and I could see the ground through them. In the right eye, the clouds remained opaque. That was very immersion breaking.

So does it work on the other side, ie if you tilt your head to the right?

I did try that, and I do think the problem existed but not as dramatic, and tilting to the right, it was the right eye that went translucent.

Oh, and mouse cursor is rendered a few tens pixels above the actual cursor. Which means I need to really carefully click somewhere else than it shows to get what I need. Varjo Aero.

Oh, and one of the super annoying bugs is displaying the dark blue on screens. Somethinna wrong it’s “coming out” of the screen.

That could just be an artifact of VR headsets. I have always noticed for whatever reason, solid blue colors render slightly "raised" in depth than other colors it's a strange phenomena on most VR headsets I've used, particularly the quest headsets, but others as well. It very well might just be that. I can't really tell you why it does that, it might be something with the sub-pixel layout, where the blue pixels arrangement cause them to have a slightly different convergence btween eyes. I dunno.

That may be right, I've just been told a similar thing by a friend who used a lot, lot of different headsets.

When I enable VR my index controller laser pointer in vr doesnt let me press anything.

Yes - this is the headset and not the sim. Main reason because I don't like the Pimax Crystal Light as much at least in a plane with big electronic screens. The subpixels (RGB) are not matching in position on the displays for both eyes and this results in a slightly changed depth perception for the basic colors. It's only visible, if you have very pure blues and reds together. But then, it can be very distracting. No issues in my Bigscreen Beyond as I assume the OLED panel and its subpixel structure is more suitable for VR.

Regarding the toolbar: Most of the time (unfortunaltely not always), the toolbar is sort of present but not visible directly. If you move your mouse along the front of you down or upwards, you can find the small line and then the toolbar opens up. If it appears sweezed, you can bring the correct rendering back by going into the settings (icon on the right) and reset the position.
Regrading the cockpit clickability: The only reliable way to bring it back, is to switch out and back in VR. A pretty reliable way for me to lose it, is to open the settings menu. Almost all the time, I can't click anymore in the cockpit after that.

About the toolbar - not sure, but I think this has to do with the known bug with cockpit mouse interaction. When I loose the ability to click the cockpit I also loose the toolbar.

Oh thank you, that's a great tip, I'll test it out.

Did some multiplayer testing today:
1. World map never did show my friend's icon. Friend was loaded into the sim and flying up in alaska in free flight mode. I logged in, and first looked at the free flight world map before adding him to my group. No icon visible. Then I added him to a group, and he accepted, I confirmed he was now in my group. still no icon. I had him go to a specific known airport, I zoomed into the map at that airport, no icon. So, it is very difficult to find a friend's plane now.
2. We are both using VR, We both landed at the same airport. My friend's airplane model that was shown to me was not the same version that he was flying. He was flying the "Science" version of the C208 caravan. I saw a caravan on floats. He said he did not have floats.
3. When he gets out of his plane, this plane goes flying off into some random direction. He says he does not see this happen to his plane on his screen. After about 30 seconds or so, his plane did return. I observed his plane's wheels about 4 feet floating above the surface of the ground, he said he observed his plane wheels directly on the ground.
4. When he got into his plane, his avatar stayed standing outside of his plane. I watched him cruise down the runway and take off, while his avatar stood there staring at me, until suddenly he just flew off into the woods and dissapeared.
5. both of us observed that the propellers on eachother's airplanes did not move. our own propellers appeared to move as normal, but when looking at the other person's airplane, the propellers did not move. Other animated objects also did not translate to the other player's view, i.e.- he would open his cargo door on the 208, and I did not see the door open.

I know these are not specifically VR related bugs. But just getting them out there on the list.

Aero's red colours popping out is known as "redshift" and blues sinking in is blueshift. It affects every application. Varjo has released a fix for that. See their Discord for more information.
