half the trees looks like blocks

seems like half the trees in the game are blocky looking, not sure what's going on but they do not look like trees at all

This data is provided by the service that is being overwhelmed by users and is resulting in the queue messages. It shows up in other ways too, such as missing aircraft, and missing parts for the avatar creation.

I have to agree that graphics-wise MSFS 2020 looked much better. Given the software's complaints about low band widths, I also think it is a streaming problem. But problems occur and the result is what it is. It looks like crap. Not even closed to what the PR material promised.
