MSFS 2024 Premium Deluxe thru my Steam account

I haven't been able to use MSFS2024 for over a week now thru Steam. Being brand new to MSFS2024 and NOT ever used MSFS2020 does this game require Game Pass? I believe it never ever came up during install but some YouTube videos I've seen talks about it. While loading the Sim, I get a screen to Sign in to Xbox, which I'm already signed into then a second screen comes up to sign in to my Microsoft account which again I'm already signed in so I can't enter any info on that screen and the program will not load. Anyone have similar situation? Can someone help me to clear this up so that I can get back on the Sim? Please reply. This is frustrating and a lot of money used.

Can't help you directly as I don't own the Steam version. But I do know that you do not need gamepass to play the Steam version.

I haven't been able to start up MSFS 2024 for about a month and a half. It worked fine for 3 months and has now refused to start. MSFS 2020 still works fine for me. I don't think it's an XBOX or Microsoft account thing at all. Possibly a Steam issue though?

My MFS 2024 is stuck at the opening screen "0% - Loading Language" and I cannot figure out whats going on. Any suggestions? Brand new computer with more than enough, speed, RAM, Graphics.... something is blocking it from loading.

Installation of MSFS 2024 does not work or execution not possible
I wanted to start the purchased FS 2024 from the library.
Finally a message appears that the languages are being loaded.
I have been waiting for over 6 hours in the hope that something will happen.
Everything remains the same. No change in the progress bar and nothing else changes either.
In the Windows Task Manager I could only see some CPU activity and the fan was clearly audible. However, the network activity is at 0% while the internet connection is fine.

What can I do to get the flight simulator running?

I have the same problem, i tried a lot of things I saw internet, and nothing works, I bought this Sim 2024 two weeks ago, and every time the Sim stops with screen "Connecting Xbox network..." for hours and prgm doesnt work, I dont know, what else can I do?

Why does Microsoft or Steam not care enough to help users out that are in this situation? I've paid something like $130 for the Deluxe version of this "game" and it doesn't work?????????
