0% Loading language stuck
I have tried everything the internet gave me to solve the problem. I even reinstalled the game. Nothing worked. Many people are saying it takes a while before it starts downloading. But 6 hours is rediculous. There is not even a server problem at the moment. I have a fast internet connection. So I really do not know what the problem could be. I´m thinking of a refund, but Steam tells me that I have played the game for 6 hours. Actually I have been waiting for 6 hours for a download start. Anyone out there who has a solution?

I have the same problem: 0 % Loading language after more than 3 hours
I'm fighting with this right now. I think that it might have something to do with connecting Xbox-Microsoft-PC < I've also tried the trick with disconnecting internet. It gives you a screen to enter your microsoft ACC but then nothing. It gave me a message too many requests. (hidden on the black screen for entering Microsoft ACC) I've waited nearly half and hour and still no result. It smells like refund for now, :D

It finally worked for me. :-)
Here are my steps, I do not know if they are all important, I just put all of them in.
-I put Steam and Flightsimulator.exe file on Admin rights.
-Shut down and start up PC again.
- Log out of your Microsoft and XBOX app accounts. Double check because they sometimes connect automatically. They are also connected, therefore BOTH need to be logged out.
-Start Steam with internet connected.
-Start Flightsimulator in Steam and be prepared to disconnect the internet.
- When Flightsimulator starts you will see a black screen and then the screen with all the brands on it, At this time disconnect the internet.
-After a few seconds you will get a Grey screen which tells you you need a internet connection. Leave it there for a minute. You will hear a voice tell you that the internet is not connected and that you need to connect it .
-Connect the internet, the voice tells you that the connection is restored.
-Wait until you see the login for your XBOX account. If it doesn´t come , you have to repeat the procedure.
-Fill out your data in the XBOX login.
-When it connected to my account within 30 sec Loading Language was on 7 % for me.
-After that it took about 3-4 minutes to install all necessary files.

I think it was the connection between Flightsimulator and XBOX account that did not work automatically when you click the yellow Xbox button. (Bottom right of the screen)

I hope this is usefull to someone.

Dear Viomode,
YOU MY FRIEND, ARE A TRULY HERO! PEOPLE WILL BUILD MONUMENTS TO HONOR YOU!!!
It finally worked for me after reading your directions. However, due the complexity of all the steps, I`ve tried a simple approach before and already worked for me:
1) put the game to run as admin
2) started the game and saw the same 0% loading language forever.
3) I've disconected the internet cable
4) after few seconds (about 1min) i saw the green screen saying the conection was lost
5) put the cable again, xbox app asked for a new login. do it
6) automaticaly the loading language text disappeared and stay the 0%
7) after few seconds it starts to move and load
Many thanks my friend. May gods be with you!

How can I force the programme to run as administrator?
I don't see this option on my desktop icon and I can't find it in the Steam library either ?

To be able to start Flight Simulator 2024 after installation, I did the following:

a)

Run the file ‘FlightSimulator2024.exe’ in the directory ‘C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Limitless’ as administrator.
Note: You can place an icon link on the desktop to make it easier to start as administrator.

b)

If the languages are to be loaded and nothing happens, then interrupt the Internet connection (in my case WiFi) and reactivate it.

c)

Log in to the Microsoft account when prompted.

Then everything worked on my computer and the flight simulator started.

I have that problem again, I could play today morning, now it stuck on 0% , disabling internet gives error, enabling internet is not giving xbox live login screen...
