Scenery doesn’t load

I’ve been searching for similar titles but once I finally get into a flight, the scenery never fully loads. Did a 1 hour flight yesterday and the initial airport partially loaded and en route the scenery was blocky, no roads, foliage etc and it never fully loaded even by the time I got to the destination airport. The destination runway and surrounds were very pixelated, think Minecraft. No issues with bandwidth…any ideas or settings I should try?

To answer your questions it might be an idea to post your hardware and settings and how do you know there is no issue with bandwidth?

After initial issues it has settled down fairly well and it working pretty decent for many. Basically the same will many new games releases. And the developers are releasing patches.

You can purchase it for around the same price as MSFS2020, X-Plane 12, DCS World + 1 add-on and AeroFly FS4. If you need to buy above the standard edition then that is up to you, but overall it is not badly priced.

How to get your scenery and loading speeds back - a good fix

To do this you only have to modify your HOSTS file which is hidden away in ;

C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts removing 2 entries as shown below:

To do this you must find and run Notepad.exe as *** Administrator ***
Open the file called HOSTS. with that editor... NB it does not have a suffix of any type, except a trailing period.

Go thru it and delete, or comment out using '#' at the start of the matching lines )the two entries below :

127.0.0.1 kh.ssl.ak.tiles.virtualearth.net
127.0.0.1 khstorelive.azureedge.net

You may find more than one set of entries for these, so make sure you get them all.

Save and exit Notepad, making sure you select "ALL FILES" not TXT uin the file type dropdown, and make sure your file name is exactly HOSTS. (with the trailing period)

That's it, Reboot your PC and your troubles should be over. Well, mine were, and I have fought this issue for a almost a month now.

I will own up = THIS IS NOT MY IDEA, I FOUND IT ON AN FS2024 FORUM, SO IT IS ALL CREDIT TO THE OP OF THAT ARTICLE IN THAT FORUM, I am afraid I can't remember where it was now, and can't seem to find it again., but it worked beautifully.
