Curious about it and certainly the screen buttons ...

I am. But I'm still struggling to get everything to work the way I want.
The lack of dedicated profiles or a comfortable controls menu doesn't help.
The screen buttons work at least in theory when I bind them to certain keyboard inputs, but I'm still figuring out what to best put there.

Got mine last week. So far it's been great. The options are endless. Mapping will take a long time. Especially custom mapping for various aircraft. The APP they provide is excellent. They have a few dedicated profiles but they aren't that useful. Better to start building your own.

One thing you can do is grab a coffee and start defining each button. The Turtle Beach throttle also has a display screen with the ability to custom design key bindings. In the CONTROLS section of MSFS 24, you can do a search for buttons & wheels on this and the STICK to see what if any task is assigned, but that is for physical buttons or wheels. If you do a search for or try to bind one of the virtual buttons in the throttle display, the response is WRONG DEVICE.

What I figured out is the FLIGHT TOUCH DISPLAY virtual buttons, levers, wheels and switches are in fact KEYPAD controls. They are duplicating key strokes. Think of them as little macros. They can be edited in the TB software, using SHIFT, CNTL, etc along with a key stroke to create a macro on your keyboard. To see what key they are assigned to, switch over to your KEYBOARD, then Search by Input. Pushing any one of these then shows up as a key stroke on the search bar, and what task, if, it's been bound to. You can rename these virtual keys to what they activate in the APP...

Do you have a good working template on what to put where?

Sometimes I also can't figure out why I can't put specific functions on some of the physical buttons and dials.
For example, I tried to assign the altitude knobs (inner and outer) to the corresponding dial on the Turtle Beach throttle, but some of the rotations the game simply doesn't recognize.

I am using it, and it's a real pain trying to get things set up. The throttle has the perfect knobs for heading, alt, ect but I can't change the rate so you have to spin them like 100x to get the heading bug to go around. There are a lot of issues with this. The S axis on the stick would be perfect for elevator trim, as that is what Turtle Beach had in mind for this, but fs2024 does not seem to even see the axis for this. There are tons of buttons and axis just missing. Also the interface for controls on fs2024 is just broken. I swear it's like they didn't even play this before they released it.

Good to know that I'm not the only one who is struggling with this.

It is a great yoke with a good throttle but the levers are a bit loose etc. The yoke certainly adds to the immersion of the game. I have the turtle beach velocity one flight stick as well. That is a great stick for the price. i use it for helicopters.

Yes. They are like little macros for the keyboard. To bind them you need to activate the keyboard as the control source when you are assigning strokes.

Well, I've purchased it and won't recommand it. The throttle is very good be the stick is very bad. I even broke the stuff by trying to get the stick back off of the base coz it was causing bad connections. I'll keep the throttle though.
But really for the price, look at smth else...

Hey just bought one for my birthday a week ago and sending it back already have three problems in one week so I wouldn't bother it looks and feels amazing shame the quality is not good wobbly switches clicking in stick after just one week use lighting and power cut off on stick in certain positions and sliding button on throttle intermittent on off fault

I find it unusable. Maybe there's some secret. Every time I stop moving any control, that becomes the zero-point. It's like it calibrates it's range of motion...Every time I touch it...

Turtle Beach needs to allow more modifiers for the softkeys on the throttle, so it matches a keyboard. Most games I'm playing (Elite Dangerous, DCS, Arma 3) have LShift, LAlt, LCtrl, RShift, RAlt, RCtrl. None of the modifiers on the throttle work with my games or I just don't understand how to create a Left and Right selection using the TB configuration Button Key Binding Editor.

I forgot Left and Right Win keys as modifiers too.

I regret so much having bought that crap (just my opinion).
Save yourselves money and get a well known and sturdy product.

Hey I had my first stick short out, lights flashing and input signals erratic. Turtle beach sent a second complete flight deck, after proof of problems of first, pics ect. Any way in less than a year both joysticks have had simular failures and quit working. I am still using the throttle and so far love it, no problems yet however I bought a VKB joystick and its great so far and feels like a superior product to the turtle beach stick
