Control settings, what seems to work when building
After fiddling with it for some time, and it's clunkiness, here's what seems to work so far (for me)

Beechcraft Baron Example

1. Keyboard Specific settings:

General Controls-I use the 2020 Transversal, and leave it set there, to duplicate my basic settings from 2020

Airplanes Controls-Change one key and it prompts for new profile name, enter Beechcraft Baron (SET AS DEFAULT)

Specific Beechcraft Baron G58 Controls-Duplicate, and name Beechcraft Baron (SET AS DEFAULT)

2. For the HOTAS Stick, Pedals, and Throttles (:

General Controls-Create a duplicate, name it Beechcraft Baron, (SET AS DEFAULT)

Airplanes Controls-Change one setting and it prompts for new profile name, enter Beechcraft Baron (SET AS DEFAULT)

Specific Beechcraft Baron G58 Controls-Duplicate, and name Beechcraft Baron (SET AS DEFAULT)

So far I have done 2 aircraft this way, and the created profiles seem to "stick" to each aircraft this way.

Also, on Steam, I can run both FS2020 and FS2024 at the same time, so I have the controls open on different monitors, and looking at the "Assigned" filter in 2020, and basically setting them on the other screen in 2024. Seems to be the quickest way to do it.

Still making a list of what I don't like with this awful GUI and Control Settings.
1. The 3 Categories aren't really intuitive.
2. The interface is WAY too big, especially the center portion with categories. I'm not blind. Need ability to make it small so we can see everything on one screen without a bunch of scrolling. No need for this.
3. Speaking of scrolling, the scrolling bars are too small, harder to grab with mouse. make them larger, maybe even put up and down arrows.

I suspect the clunky GUI has to do with consoles. I'd rather not hear that. Give us the option to decrease the size of everything, and maybe make it all text only. The large blue blocks with one word and a picture of a camera or gear, is just wasting space and causing scrolling.

This is the best description I've found so far as to what these 3 categories mean...I think. But just creating new ones in each of the three I think is what I'm going to do, along with eventually creating basic "sets like Single Prop, Dual Prop, etc. to use when setting up a new acft
