Microsoft apparently said they don't. If you look around youtube for solutions, you'll see a number of videos explaining that microsoft doesn't support the use of thrustmaster controls with ANY cloud game. It's a serious issue that they need to resolve. From what I can gather, about a quarter of all players are having controls be ignored by the game.
lots of people have said to do this, but it doesn't work. All controls are completely ignored by the game no matter how they are bound.
I'm also pretty sure the quote about not supporting joysticks has to do with their streaming of games from a remote server, not what they are doing here.
Is your joystick showing up in controls? And do you have it selected?
I will admit the whole controls interface, while now quite powerful, is a User Interface nightmare. It is easy to get things set wrong so controls don't work.
I will also admit there are bugs with the controls. Even using a gamepad on the Xbox and following exactly the sequence they say to use, there are times the controls aren't responsive and you need to try several times for something to take effect. But that has not been the case for the basic axis controls like elevator, ailerons, rudder, and throttle.
microsoft itself says this:
"No, flight controllers from Thrustmaster are not compatible with Microsoft cloud gaming:
Flight controllers
Thrustmaster flight controllers, such as the T.Flight Hotas One, are not compatible with cloud gaming or streaming modes."
Yes, I wish microsoft would clarify this.
But the HOTAS 1 IS supported. Grant you, it is configured wrong.
