Also, configurations are per plane, so make sure that what you have is applicable to the plane you are flying. So if you see for example the Diamond as the plane shown and do your configuration, if you are actually flying the Cesna 172, the controls will probably be mapped wrong.
"No, flight controllers from Thrustmaster are not compatible with Microsoft cloud gaming:
Flight controllers
Thrustmaster flight controllers, such as the T.Flight Hotas One, are not compatible with cloud gaming or streaming modes."
The HOTAS 1 most certainly IS supported for this game. They sell a version of it for this game. It is pretty much identical to the normal HOTAS 1 except for branding and the color.
no they meant this. This is a cloud game. Look it up. Just ask google if thrustmaster flight controls are supported by microsoft cloud or streaming games. You'll see for yourself.
I will grant you the control user interface absolutely sucks. It was clearly made by an engineer. That isn't a complement, and I was a software engineer for many many many years.
i agree with you. since the entire game is not cloud-based, but you just had to download the 11gb. so it should work. i have the feeling that the end consumer simply got an alpha version of the game. that would explain why so many settings are so user-unfriendly.
the game IS cloud based. It streams everything from the cloud.
who me? I've been on steam sense 2010. This is a genuine problem, and I'm only saying what microsoft tech support has told me. And EVERY SINGLE OTHER search will also confirm this. If you don't believe me, get in the microsoft games help line. find out for yourself.
there's also this. half of this is a plug for thrustmaster, but this guy also talks about how it's not compatible.

Go to google. In the search type this, "Are thrustmaster flight controls compatible with cloud and streaming games for PC?" It will tell you this:
No, Thrustmaster flight controls are not compatible with cloud and streaming games on PC. Thrustmaster products can only support games that are installed on the platform being used, such as a PC or console.
this is a problem with the game not me. The fact that you have over 30 threads about it proves it.
You are trying too hard. Make it a little less obvious would you?
