Neat. Mine doesn't work. All of my inputs are ignored. All I can find about why is that microsoft says they don't support the thrustmaster gear on any cloud based games.
Maybe specifically the HOTAS itself, because my Thrustmaster Airbus Throttle Quadrant, Yoke and pedals work just fine, and is complete recognized by as well FS2020 as FS2024 only needed to reconfigure it for my own personal liking.
that's what you'd expect from not being supported. It would work for some people in some cases, but the same equipment won't work for others. That's the instability you get with not being supported.
Well the fun me is with my Saitek panels what is staring all over again, they work fine in 2020, took them only about a year or so to fix, and again a no go in 2024, same problems as with 2020 at first, so with any luck i can use them again in about a year %^#%%#^^@..
So really understand the pain of hardware issues..
I suspect it has to do with streaming games. Microsoft apparently said that thrustmaster wasn't supported in any streaming game. I don't know why streaming would even be an issue but microsoft seems to think it is. And if it is, then there's probably other brands that aren't supported in streaming games. I really don't have a clue what's going on. I'm trying to figure it out, which is the very reason for the post.
I'll see if I can link the source in here
My Thrustmaster Hotas 1 is for the most part working within MSFS 2024 even if some of the mapping was initially a bit wonky.
Elevator Trim Down: Axis 5+
Elevator Trim Up: Axis 5-
Decrease Flaps: B3
Increase Flaps: B4
Rudder Axis: Axis 2
Ailerons Axis: Axis 4
Elevator Axis: Axis 3
Toggle Landing Gear: Y
Toggle Parking Brakes: Prev
Brakes: B2
Throttle Axis: Axis 1
Cockpit External View: Rectangle over Rectangle
Cockpit Quickviews: POV in the correct direction
Engine Autostop: Next
Set Pause Off: Three lines
Toggle Pause: Three Lines
And a bunch of other junk for things like fire fighting and grappling hooks.
I had to reverse axis for elevator and for throttle as they came configured incorrectly.
Hope this helps some.
this is helpful, but some of the inputs are still ignored even though they are correctly mapped.
