Any idea how to get TrackIR to work?

Spent plenty of time in the settings and couldn't find anything other than a bind to enable or disable head tracking which of course didn't work. Any suggestions?
(other than go back to FS2020 for a month)

Make sure to check for game updates in Track IR, if there are any it should pop up a button in the top right.
You should see Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 in the Titles list.
Also make sure to start TrackIR software BEFORE msfs.

In game it's in the Camera menu, TrackIR switch ... would also screenshot it but not in the mood to wait for the game to load for 30 mins rn :)

Thanks for the advice. Updating the game list did the trick and it's working now.

Hope it's still not taking that long for Steam users to get in. I've got it on Gamepass and the day 1 nightmare seems to be over.

Oddly, the default MS2024 profile in Track IR software doesn't offer me 6 DOF. I went to default setting and it does offer 6 DOF.

I've updated my game list, plugged TrackIR into a different USB port, restarted MSFS2024 and TrackIR software multiple times, and tried running TrackIR as an admin and normal. TrackIR works in all my other sim games, and MSFS2024 is in the game list. However, when I run MSFS2024, TrackIR doesn't work. The light that should turn on to indicate the game is detected doesn't come on.

Edit: Solved. Restarted MSFS2024 as an administrator.
