Virpil HOTAS setup

If anyone figures out how to get this setup please let us know. I am a Star Citizen player and my Virpil setup works flawlessly there. Cant seem to get it working here and not sure where to start,

in fs2020 no problem with vpc, in fs2024 not yet tested, but you can see the computer peripherals inside ingame menu where you configure controls. You have to bind every key/axis

I have the same issue, my devices are recognized in the Device List but when I try to bind a key a quick "Scanning..." text appears and then the text "Wrong device" appears. My setup works in DCS so this must be an issue in MFS 24?

I also have Vipril HOTAS.
Need to have them plugged in BEFORE starting the game.
Then need to set them up through the settings > controls.
You have to first click on the specific device, and then setup key bindings.
It has you create a profile per device, which makes it easier to use the same bindings between planes.
If you are still on the keyboard or a different device, you will get the "wrong device" error.
It means it detected an input on a device other than what it expected for the scan.

I seem to be having issues with keybindings though. Toggle switches seem to want 2 inputs when scanning, so I have to flip it both ways which feels odd.
Even with parking brakes bound, doesn't seem to be working properly all the time.
It also seems I need to set the controller profile every time I change a plane. It doesn't seem to remember that I will be using my hotas between planes.

I have the same problem. My gear is perfectly fine in every other sim, including msfs2020, but msfs2024 completely ignores my gear. You can map it, but in flight it completely ignores all input from any control.

Same problem here, I can map my stick & throttle but they don´t work ingame, I have checked "use on all planes" but still can only control plane with keyboard & mouse or my vr controllers. Also none of the mapped axes moves on the axis calibration page.

I just got new Virpil flightstick and hotas and they work amazingly well with MSFS2024. Of course there is quite a lot to do with the set-up but the end result is worth it. However, I did not yet prepare any plane specific profiles, so I do not know how well that works. The biggest concern was the long wait for the back-order delivery from the manufacturer. It took several weeks.

Virpil is always back-ordered, but worth the wait. I haven't noticed any issues with the Virpil, especially in plane-specific setups, that don't already exist for other controllers.
