Steam Will Not Launch the Sim
I've been playing this for over 100+ hours now. I played it last night with no problem. Today, I try and fire it up, click 'Start', the game acts like it going to load for about 2 seconds then goes back to the Steam page and show's me the 'Start' button again. What could have happened overnight that now the game will not load for me????

...it says FS2024 drops an exception in module sl.pcl.dll.
I simply removed that file from the FS2024 directory and the program start.
It reports, that the last session has ended unexpectedly and offers some safe mode to start in, but it loads up anyway.
There are some graphical artifacts/differences visible, but might worth a try...

Same for me.
After some 70 hours of playtime, today it fails to start in the way you described.

I'm not that lucky. NVidia update alone hasn't solved the problem, it is still dead.
Driver update did not work. Still can't launch the game. What did I pay for?

Same exact problem. Ran from launch day even with no problems. 189 hours and stopped dead.

OK, so what I've forgot to mention is: if you remove that file the program will live up again, but as this dll is necessary for nVidia's DLSS function you have to select an alternative Anti-Alias method in the program's graphics properties (for me, AMD's FSR2 also works fine), otherwise you loose all 3D visuals in the program.
Happy flying, I've already resumed my career today with some successful missions, no any issues experienced so far...
...or you can wait for the developers for an official fix.

Anyway, can we check what videocard you have the proglem with? I assume all of us uses nVidia cards (based on the original proposals of updating NV driver), but what actual card types are affected?
My one is a simple 4060.
I deleted the mentioned file and now I am back up and running. I'm still using a GTX 1660 ti so I'm not wrecking any dlss functions. Thanks for the fix suggestion.
