CTD 1.4 hrs into a 1.5 hour mission

This is the second time that I've spent over an hour into a mission only for it to crash to desktop with no error message and no evidence that I've even started the mission. It would be really nice to have a save function for these long missions. What a waste of time.

Just happened to me too. Got the "Mission Successful!" screen, then CTD with no explanation.

If you got the mission successful message, wouldn't you get credit for the fligth?
