Garmin G1000 in the stock Cessna 172
I am wondering what's wrong with the G1000 implementation in the stock Cessna. What bugs me is that I cannot change the map to HDG up, instead of the plane icon (aligned to my current heading) I see only a little gray button, and when I turn the heading know, it's not projected to the map display.

It's weird, because these features were all working in the 2020, and even some planes in 2024 still have them, PC-6 or G36 for example. It's like there are two version of the G1000, but I can't seem to figure our the pattern - for example when the G1000 boots up, it displays its software version, but both C172 and G36 show the same version.

It's a mess, I'm not sure if there is a signle plane in the game that is 100% functional :(

This is due to a bad electrical system configuration (AHRS related). You can also hear "TAWS System Test OK" with no power applied to the aircraft. I would report this on the official forums.
