How to refuel in-game (career mode)???
Is there any way to add fuel in career mode? Looks like some missions have not enough onboard fuel by default. I took a cargo mission on a DHC-2 for a distance of 130 n.m. There was only 22 gals of fuel at start. Well, I didn't know fuel consumption of DHC-2 (and there is no consumption meter in cockpit). After my rear tank was empty, I estimate distance travelled and distance to complete, and realised, that amount of fuel in both, front and center, tank is insufficient to complete mission.

So, is there any way to refuel or add fuel to default mission amount?

yes it is, you can bind key for it in setting, it will add 25% of fuel tank. Amount of fuel in tanks is in cockpit.

Thanks, will search for this key. But it's not a realistic way. I mean, in 2020 you could taxy to refueling station on airfield, and relevant menu of refueling pops up automatically. I tried to do so in 2024, but there was no refueling options.

I do not know how were things in 2020, I m starting with this one as first flight sim, learning it on the run, but I found in EFB is fuel tab with emergency fuel, if changed from auto to manual it can be added figures for fuel

Oh, seems I started to realise: those slider in EFB is not implemented automatically, I need to press a relevant key. Thank you once more, fellow pilot!

Be careful with the DHC-2. It has a massive fuel burn if manifold pressure/RPM/mixture are not on ideal cruise settings. I get the general feeling from all the fuel discussions that the game is trying to teach proper cruise and engine mixture procedures. I personally haven't had an issue with fuel on multi hour flights on any aircraft so far.

Yep, and I understand this, so in that flight I tuned engine in most economical way, but lost engine on final anyway. It seems, that ANY mission give you 30% fuel, despite of flight range. I lurked into DHC-2 manual, just to find, that 22 gals of fuel is insufficient for 130 n.m. flight for this type. So I came here to ask if I have some ways to manage fuel befor take off.
