Airbus freeflight doesnt work?

I've issues with the controlls of big planes in free flight mode, tried both A321 and A330. Taxiïng is absoolute impossible, when I try throttle it's eather full or reverse, no small adjustments possible by buttons on the controller. Only when I select the throttle's with the mouse and move them a bit, they react as normal. But then turning, is absolute impossible. Doesn't seem to react to imput on rudder panels(controller). Then, ATC constantly tells me to keep 400 or 500ft after takeoff, and doesn't tell me to climb afterwards. Sometimes plane crashes in mid air, putting me back with engines off into the air so stay in a loop of crashing. Autopilot doesn't seem to react very well, or not at all on height adjustments par example.

When I look at youtube people seem to manage these planes in FS2024 so could it be me? In careermode i've no problems at all controlling the Chesna with the same controller.
