UI is a mess

After finally loading MSFS 2024, I just spent nearly an hour "walking" around the airplane and was unable to enter the damn thing so that I could fly. I give up, going to bed.

Must be one of the worse UI designs for quite a while. But then again for the XBox on the big screen, it most likely is sweet!!

The Velocityone flight stick was programmed using a dart board thrown by a toddler!!! It makes no sense at all and made the plane unflyable, had to do a complete wipe 1 button at a time and start from scratch.

I agree. What used to be kind of fun about the simulator is now kind of a mess. There are bugs everywhere, so many bugs, not just a few hiccups. Basic things like flight plans are not working well. Once you get the plan set up, they do not load into the avionics even though it shows in the flight planner. Other times it is loaded into the aircraft but the autopilot doesn't follow it. This was pretty smooth in the 2020 version. These issues happen with the new planes made for 2024 and with holdovers from 2020.

What do people expect for a small indie publisher like XBox Game Studios and a super-hyped, full price AAA title!!

Not like they have any experience in developing similar flight sims before!!

Shift C works for me. But I'm unable to do the walkaround on taildraggers, because I can only move the elevator down, never up.

So I guess that's how they also programmed my Honeycomb Alpha yoke & Bravo controls. This would definitely explains the lack of logic and the binding mess.
