I landed at my house and it doesn't look anything like my real house
I thought this game was supposed to be more accurate.

Depends if where you live is covered by photogrammetry.

I did as well. It looked remarkably good from the air. But once on the ground the illusion was totally shattered. Parts of the house were at odd angles, trees were angular painted messes, etc. I have been places that did look good including some probably not covered by photogrammetry, but my house wasn't one of them. Ah well, it is a flight sim and if it looks good from the air, that is a great start.

My Neighborhood is correct in the sense the layout of the area in how everything is placed is correct, some building are recognizable, but my house itself is just a generic building as it completely a different building.

Its mostly a mix of generic buildings and badly rendered photogrammery buildings that has huge LOD issues up close, while more too the more historical city centre with ots of POI's it gets better..
For a distance it all does look pretty good in resemblance, better as MS2020, but up close, even though its all generic buildings, MS2020 does a hell of a better job in close range, even with Generic buildings, and i always thought MS2020 looked bad up close.

In MSFS2024 the entery world has a forest. We need urgent a Global Tree Fix. Its a shame Blackshark dont work with Asobo anymore. Autogen trees everywhere its awful

You should contact the devs so they can stop working on fixes to concentrate on this. That's just horrible.

If you live in a small town you're going to get random buildings. They only covered major cities in photogrammetry because it's a lot more work.

The terrain is pretty accurate though, I checked out my old neighborhood and they got all the little hills I used to sled on just right, the terrain resolution seems much higher than most other flight sims I've played.

Well this is what I've observed when I played the game. When I flew away from Toronto and Tokyo I started to notice where the photogrammy ended and the buildings started to turn into random buildings in the outskirts of those cities.

Maybe the server started lagging just as I flew away from them ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

What you flew over simply wasn't covered by photogrammetry. I've seen cities both big and small covered and not covered by photogrammetry.

I live in a major EU city, with a lot of historical buildings that are also included in the game as POI, and is for the most part hugely detailed in MSFS2020 but also with a lot of just generic themed buildings, while this is in MS2024 a lot less detailed from up close, even downright ugly as it all look like LOD models that are for great distances, and the game just not loading the detailed objects.

My office for example is location in a huge historical building that takes up half a city block, and is from a distance very accurate looking in the game.
From up close it looks like its located on the Ukrainian front line, with all the textures all mixed up and the model itself showing huge spline errors, making the whole city one huge mess as every building that is made Photogrammetry looks like that, and despite MS2020 uses a lot of generic buildings, the end result from up close even though not a good resemblance of the locations making them nearly unrecognizable, just does look 100 better, as to a vaguely recognizable mess MS2024 makes of it.

Again from a far, MS2024 really beats MS2020 and my home city really does look like it does to a huge degree, and on 4K res ultra settings, it does almost looks like the real deal

It is in right location but it is different house. I didn't expected better as it is suburban house. Even google hasn't 3D, only 2D and street view. It is not better on XP12 with X-Europe.

i doubt you would stop much. AI made the game and they dont know what to do. say fix 1 thing break 10 more and leave it. thats all they do
