2020 Planes in 2024
I still don't get it.

I bought a lot of additional planes for 2020; most from the marketplace,
but also many somewhere in the Internet.

In the beginning, I simply tried to copy the files (from the Internet-bought-ones)
to the new community folder; and later also tried the same for the ones I
bought via the marketplace - just to see if any of this worked.

It didn't. Obviously bc they simply aren't compatible.

Now, from time to time, rarely indeed, old planes suddenly appear in 2024,
but I cannot fly them. They're only in the "marketplace library", shown as
"activated", but they cannot be selected for flying. They're not available
in the plane selection menu.

For example the Blackbox Sim planes; I own them all.
Bought in the 2020 marketplace. They now claim all of them are compatible with 2024:
https://www.blackboxsimulation.com/msfs2024/

I only see two of them in the "marketplace lib", as "streamed", the Trislander and
the Bird Dog. They're also both activated (also tried toggling) - all others are missing.

I only can fly the Trislander (not all variants from 2020 available though), but
the Bird Dog is not in the plane selection GUI.

Is this the expected behaviour? How is this supposed to work?
What do I need to do?

Thx.

Fundamentally, I now know that it was a mistake to buy anything from the marketplace. Microsoft doesn't consider it necessary to implement updates already made available by the manufacturers in MSFS 2024. I'm also missing airports and aircraft that I purchased in MSFS 2020. But the Fokker 28, for example, still hasn't been updated, even though it's been fully compatible since March 13, 2025, because the manufacturer released a major update. Only in MSFS 2024 are there no updates at all. Because of Microsoft/Asobo's behavior, I won't buy anything from the marketplace in the future, but will only buy from external providers. I find the withholding of updates simply outrageous and unnecessary.
